Dr. Nekita Sullivan, Clemson and MUSC alumna, proudly offers physical therapy and yoga services in downtown Clemson at Yoga Therapy Bar. This Clemson based physical therapy and yoga studio provides a holistic blend of physical therapy and yoga to improve physical and mental health and wellness. Dr. Sullivan is a healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified yoga teacher, and certified health education specialist. She provides therapeutic services in an outpatient setting. However, she has experience working in multiple settings such as: orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, industrial, inpatient, home health, skilled care, assisted living, memory care, and independent living. Dr. Sullivan has treated multiple populations to include: seniors, kids, adults, athletes, veterans, and those with special needs and disabilities.

She has the privilege of working with multiple populations that require her to utilize her advanced skills. She is proud to treat those actively serving in the military as well as veterans with physical therapy and yoga to improve their physical and mental function. As an industrial physical therapist at BMW Manufacturing she gained experience treating those with workers compensation and work-related injuries often associated with cumulative trauma and repetitive work tasks from low back pain and strain to carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Sullivan’s six years as the director of rehabilitative services at The Woodlands of Furman prepared her to assist seniors with illnesses and injuries such as hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, balance dysfunction after falls, vertigo, stroke, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. Her extensive experience working with athletes includes multiple sports: softball, basketball, track, football, cheerleading, dance, and more. Dr. Sullivan has treated youth and kids ages 3 and above for various injuries and illnesses. She gets super excited to help those with special needs and disabilities such as: multiple sclerosis, Down’s syndrome, autism, deaf and blind, wheelchair mobile, traumatic brain injuries, and more. She enjoys treating those of different ethnicities and learning about various cultures.  Dr. Sullivan is experienced in completing evaluations and treatments for those of Hispanic, Asian, and Indian descent. She welcomes all to Yoga Therapy Bar as diversity, inclusion, and equity is a priority.

No longer will residents of Pickens, Oconee, and Anderson counties have to travel far distances for physical therapy and yoga services. The wonderful residents of Clemson, Central, Pendleton, Anderson, Seneca, Walhalla, Westminster, and Salem can come right here to Tiger Town in downtown Clemson for physical therapy and yoga services.  Services currently are provided Thursday through Saturday in the studio, virtually, outdoors, and on-site. Yoga classes are 30 minutes to 1 hour in duration priced from $20 to $25 for group classes.  Dr. Sullivan provides modifications so that all classes are beginner friendly.  Physical therapy services are 1 hour in duration and one-one-one.  Pricing options include a flat fee for one treatment session or a package fee for a month of physical therapy treatment sessions. No referral is needed.  There are no insurance limitations.  Appointments are available the same week. Handicapped parking is just outside the front door.
